IS INTRAVENOUS (IV) THERAPY SAFE?

Thousands of people receive intravenous (IV) fluids, nutrients and medications daily with zero complications. The most common (yet still rare) problem with IV therapy is infection. With proper sterile techniques, the risk of infection is close to zero. At Quench, our medical professionals are highly trained and take the utmost care to ensure that your therapy is as safe as possible.

DOES IT HURT?

Typically, there is a very small amount of pain associated with IV placement (a little pinch!). If you’re worried about the pain, we can numb the site with a topical numbing medicine.

WHO WILL BE STARTING MY IVs?

We only hire the best staff. We only hire experienced professionals at Quench, while only using top grade and sterile medical products. We also throw in a complimentary health consultation to ensure you get the best infusion for your needs. So rest assured knowing that you are in good hands!

SHOULD I VISIT QUENCH IV STUDIO OR GO TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM FOR HYDRATION THERAPY?

The difference between Quench and the Emergency Room is cost and the comfort. The average cost of an ER visit for hydration therapy is close to $1000. The average wait time is 4 hours. For a fraction of the cost and time, our critical care trained medical professionals will cater to your hydration needs in a Home like environment. We ensure that every client receives a complete medical history and screen to determine if they are healthy enough to proceed with therapy at Quench. This therapy is intended for healthy individuals.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE THERAPY?

Typically your entire experience at Quench will last 45 min to 1hour.

CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT VITAMIN D INJECTIONS?

We currently offer two doses of Vitamin D3 injections. Our basic 10,000 IU injections are great for overall wellness and do not require labs. Our High Dose 50,000 IU Vitamin D3 injections are given every two weeks and require recent labs within 60 days of first appointment and as needed during treatment. Labs required are a Vitamin D level. Off site labs can be purchased from us at a much more affordable rate, and can be done on your own time. We are unable to give any discounts or package deals for the High Dose injections.

ARE THERE ANY NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS?

Most of our therapies have no negative side effects. A few of the vitamins can cause a whole body warmth feeling while others can make you feel very relaxed. If you’re getting a detox therapy it is common to feel tired and sometimes flu like (often called the Herxheimer reaction), but this does not last. Other less common side effects include infection of the IV site and allergic reaction. Our medical professionals will provide you with all the details of your therapy prior to administration. As always, we can be reached to answer any questions you may have following your therapy.

I AM PREGNANT, CAN I RECEIVE IV THERAPY?

Yes, IV hydration is safe for pregnant women. We are one of the few hydration clinics that accept pregnant clients who have hydration needs, as well as those who need assistance with pregnancy related nausea! Please bring a prescription/authorization notice from your OB/GYN and we would be glad to service you!

CAN A CHILD RECEIVE IV THERAPY?

IV therapy is safe for children; however, we do not treat clients under the age of 18.

DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Appointments are preferred to ensure personalized attention. Walk ins are always welcome and most times, we can accommodate you with little to no wait time. Please bring your photo ID during your first visit.

CAN YOU SERVICE PRIVATE PARTIES/LARGE GROUPS/MOBILE SERVICES?

Call us to ask about booking out our studio for your private party. We love large groups! Yes, we do provide mobile services for special events and large groups, with a $500 prepaid minimum. These are typically scheduled around our availability. We do not provide mobile services for the general public at this time. If you are in a wheelchair, we can perform your service car side at our location.

CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT IRON INFUSIONS?

Recent labs and staff approval (within 30 days of first appointment) are required. Labs required are the CBC and the Anemia Panel (must include Iron, Ferritin, TIBC, and TSAT).
